Personal Representative / Executor Services
Naming your Personal Representative (PR) is one of the most important decisions you’ll ever make. Sometimes a person other than a family member may be the best choice to settle your estate. Maybe you don’t have any surviving relatives, or you’ve been appointed PR but do not want to be. We are able to serve as the legally named Personal Representative (named when creating your will) for an estate.
The personal representative of an estate is responsible for managing the deceased’s assets, paying debts and taxes, and distributing the remaining estate to beneficiaries according to the will or state law. They must also handle legal paperwork, probate proceedings, and ensure all obligations are met before closing the estate.
Personal Representative & Executor Services are our highest service offering. After Loss Services differ because we work for the personal representative and perform many of the same functions except those that require legal authority, like signing insurance claims, contracts, government forms and more.
